i came back to working on weapons using blender. i wanted to start small so i went with a pistol. The fnx-45 was a common pistol i found reference for online and went in. i attempted to use alot of new tools within blender, seeing what worked and what didnt. Overall getting a better feel for blender and my hardsurface modeling. Below is the final shots of my model with no special texturing, high-poly breakdown at the end.
